After successfully completing the new five floors of law offices of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Irvine, California, the client decided to complete a complicated, phased remodel for their downtown offices. The primary goal was to update the firm's image from traditional to transitional, while minimizing disruption to working staff.
The renovation included a new two-story centralized reception area and client conference center. All elevator lobbies and secondary reception areas were upgraded. The legal staff area received new carpet, wallcovering, paint and lighting. Rich woods, stone flooring, and area rugs all communicated tradition with a slightly modern interpretation.
