75% of cancer treatment occurs in a community hospital setting. In addition to providing compassionate and cutting-edge cancer care, ECH wanted the primary workplace for their extraordinary team of physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to be a well-designed office environment with effective clinical facilities.

Located in the new Melchor Pavilion building, the Cancer Center design encourages collaboration and innovation, providing opportunities for a full range of medical specialties to exchange ideas and treatment options. A large conference room accommodates meetings to discuss complicated patient cases, with video-conferencing systems to access outside experts. The public and clinical areas include nurse stations that are more like typical office workstations, intimate seating areas for patients and their families, and retail amenities.
