The 15,000 square-foot Executive Briefing Center, located off the ground floor reception area of a six-story building, was the exception to Nortel's frugality rule. The Campus Theme of "Light Makes Vision Possible" was reinterpreted for the Center. At the entry of this showcase, where the company interacts with clients, a variation on the spectrum theme appears — a kinetic LED light show, played on a timed loop.
In the circulation hub of the facility stands its architectural highlight, a canopy of dichroic-glass panels sandwiched between acrylic, surrounded by equipment display areas, meeting rooms, and a dining room, all lavished with time and money spent on acoustics, AV technology, and lighting.
