This upbeat office space became the home for Ciena to create a new era of telecommunication networks and services worldwide. A highly creative environment was conceived to support Ciena's goal to promote innovation and intelligent problem-solving and to attract and retain talent. A design infrastructure of recurrent functions and forms enhances wayfinding as it leverages and showcases technology, while bringing stability and innovation into a refined high-tech image.
Open plan workstations located on the perimeter allow generous light into the space. Private offices, conference rooms, and semi-open impromptu meeting, pantry, and copy areas form a central hub and make a perfect setting for work and play. The first floor plan also includes software and hardware labs and a large reception and marketing presentation center.
